- Table runner: DII Variegated Taupe Fringe Table Runner in Off-White 13″x72″ on Overstock.com (I really like this width 13″ for allowing enough space on both sides of the table for charger plates or placemats).
- Dinner Plates/Salad Plates/Noodle Bowls/Cereal Bowls: Pillivuyt Plisse Porcelain Dinnerware Collection at Williams Sonoma (One of the best purchases I have ever made! They are durable, beautiful and fit everyday living as well as any occasion! If you don’t like the Plisse collection, Pillivuyt has many designs to choose from!) Made in France by Pillivuyt, makers of fine porcelain since 1818.
- Wine glasses: Hotel Collection Stemware 8-Pc. Value Set at Macy’s (These are very afforadable! I purchased 2 sets for a total of 16 wine glasses with 2 varying types).
- Silverware: Mikasa Regent Bead 65 Pc Set, Service for 12 at Macy’s (This is our everyday silverware, but it is also beautiful for special occasions. For sustainability purposes or if you have a shortage on storage, find an everyday silverware with a hint of class – go for a 12 piece set)!

2. Choose your theme- currently Fall!
As the seasons change, your mood changes, your palette for design changes…so run with it! For Fall table setting ideas, incorporate pastels, creams, oranges, yellows, and reds… and if you want to create a more cohesive look in your home (no matter the season), make sure to stay true to your design roots.
Tips: Build your seasonal design from your (already beautiful) home theme and create a cohesive space!
3. Carefully select charger plates
First thing is first, what shape are your dinner plates? How do you want your table set up – square or circular table settings? Figure out the overall look you would like and the type of material you want for your design.

4. Decide on napkins and napkin rings!
Here comes the most unique part of the table setting – the napkins and the napkin rings (the sky is the limit with this one)! Whether you would like a more formal or casual look, washable or one-time use napkins, and the everyday or seasonal napkin rings (takes very little storage space and is budget-friendly), you can create a whole new look EVERY SEASON with very little expense and dramatic changes!
Tips: Get picky with your napkin selection (color, material, size) and find unique napkin rings! Your guests will love the extra time you have put into your Fall table setting design!
5. Add decor to your table and plates!
Always! With every season, find seasonal decor that suits your table and the overall design of your home.
